How to Create a Segment for a Group of Cards

SKIES Path Segmentation helps teachers categorize, organize and segment cards, especially those with longer lessons or more SKIES cards. Follow these steps on how to utilize segments in your lesson:

1. Click the  icon (2nd icon from the left) at the top of the first card where you want to start your segment, and click the same icon again at the top of the card where you want it to end.
2. A pop-up will show prompting you to enter a name for your segment. Create a name for your segment.
3. The cards within that segment will then be stacked together in one card/column.
4. You may expand or collapse your segment by clicking the arrows beside the segment title. 
   
   • • Students will have the same view of the segments therefore they can expand the segment the same way.

To rename the segment:

1. Click the segment title.
2. Enter the new name once the pop-up appears then click Ok.

To remove the segment:

1. Click the 3 dots beside the segment name.
2. In the dropdown, click Unsegment.
