Generator: Reading

SKIES Reading Generator helps teachers allow students to recognize a word from a given image or speech. Follow these steps below to generate your own reading cards:

1. Click the Generator button below your Lesson Title or the +Make new card button in the lesson path and click Generator from the dropdown menu.
2. Select Reading from the Reading folder and type/paste the list of your words on the provided field.
3. Select the number of choices you want for each word.
4. Below the number of choices, you'll have additional options you can use for your quiz (e.g. include images, include spoken audio, and/or provide instant feedback).
5. At the bottom of the window, you can select which language you want the spoken audio to be in from the dropdown menu.
6. Click Make Cards and SKIES will then generate individual cards for each word, with spoken audio and images (if enabled).
