SKIES General Phonics Generator helps students, especially during early literacy, as it creates cards with phonemes, syllables, and proper word pronunciation. Follow these steps below to create your own phonics cards:
- Click Generator below the lesson title, or the +Make New Card or button in the lesson path and click Generator from the dropdown menu.
- Select General Phonics from the Reading folder, or look for it in the frequently used generator; and type/paste your words in the provided field.
- Below the word list field, you may check the boxes if you want to include pictures, phonemes, word pronunciation, and/or syllables.
- You can also set if you want your students to respond with either audio, video, and/or syllables.
- Click Make Cards and SKIES will then generate phonics cards for each word provided.
