How to Create a Collaborative Google File

If you want to create a single, collaborative Google file where all your students can submit their responses, please follow these steps below:

1. Click the + Make new card button.
2. In the dropdown, select Google Doc.
3. Check the box next to Students Can Edit and select from either Google Document, Google Sheet, Google Slide, or Google Drive (if you have an existing file ready).
4. SKIES will then create a card with an "Edit" icon in the middle.
5. When students submit their responses, all they need to do is to click the Edit icon on your lesson card and all their responses will be in just one Google file.
