How to Add a Drawing to your Lesson Card through ‘Draw Picture’

SKIES allows you to create collaborative lesson cards - from a simple text card to a range of other options like photo, video, audio and other types of media.

The Draw Picture option lets you draw, create a text or a table, on a blank white page.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Click the "+Make new card" button.
2. From the available options in the dropdown, select Draw Picture.
3. Here are some useful functions:
• Pen icon at the top - allow you to write or draw. You may also change the color of the pen by clicking on any of the color options. When this is selected, additional options on the left side of the page that allow you to create shapes, tables, and lines, will appear.
• Highlighter - allows students to highlight texts.
• T - allows you to add text.
• Hand icon - allows you to grab the sheet and move it around.
• Zoom icon - allows you to zoom in and out.
4. Click Done then Save Card once you’re done with your drawing.
5. If you want your students to respond to the lesson card, enable the teacher control panel by clicking the Responses checkbox at the bottom left of the card.
