For Students: How to View Assignments/Grade Notifications

When teachers create new assignments and give students new grades, it is important to know where to look for the notifications. Below are the steps on how to view your new assignments (to-do cards) and new grades.

• Go into your Courses Page (Student Tab) and click My Class (for single-period classes) or your Class Name.
• Inside your course, you'll see the Lessons on the left-side panel and you'll know if you have new assignments (to-do cards) if you see an orange square beside the Lesson Title, with a number that indicates how many to-do cards you have for that lesson.
• You'll also know if you have newly graded cards if you see "New grades available" highlighted in blue, below the Lesson Title.
• When you click the Lesson Title, you'll also see an orange circle at the top right, beside the 3 horizontal dots.
• Click it and it will show you your to-do cards, your graded cards, and your current grade. 
• Click one to-do card in the list and it will bring you directly to the specific lesson card.

Note: The left-side panel hides when you go deeper into the lesson, so to reveal it, just click the sandwich button located at the top left of your SKIES page.
