Syncing grades from SKIES to Google Classroom is easier than ever! This guide will walk you through the quick and simple steps to transfer grades effortlessly, helping you save time and keep everything organized.
- Open your lesson.
- Click the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner, then select Gradebook.
- At the top of the Gradebook, click Google Classroom.
- Log in to your Google account. A pop-up window will appear.
- Select the section you want to sync.
- Scale the points:
- Scale linearly: Enter the point scale (e.g., 4) in the field below the question, "How many points should this x pt lesson scale to?" The system will automatically scale the points for the entire lesson.
- Explicit mapping: Enter the point scale in the same field before clicking the Explicit Mapping button. This will display all the points the students received, allowing you to manually adjust them if needed.
- Or leave the total points as they are. For instance, if the total points for the lesson is 12, you can input 12 in the "How many points should this x pt lesson scale to?" field.
- Click the Submit as new assignment button if it's the first time you will transfer the grades for the lesson, or uncheck it if you are just updating the grades.
- Click Upload Scores.
