To create your lessons on SKIES, you need to create your 'course' first. It serves as the main folder for your lessons. You may create a course for your prep (e.g. 8th Grade Science).
You may follow these steps on how to create a SKIES course:
- Go to the SKIES login page. Log in using your SKIES username and password, or through Continue with Google button.
- On your Courses page, go to the Teachers tab and click + Make new course.
- On the pop-up, enter your Course Title (e.g. 8th Grade Science).
- For teachers with multiple sections, you can press +Add another class and type the name of the period in the blank, e.g. Period 1, so that SKIES will help you keep your student work organized.
- If you would like to give students access to translation in all your lessons, choose the flags. You can always turn off access in individual lessons later.
- Click Save.
- Note: Your schools should already be listed under license. If it is not, please contact us help@skieslearn.com or through our HELP now button in SKIES.
