When you have multiple classes in a course, all lessons that you add in one class/period will be copied automatically into the rest of the periods. What if you just want to assign a particular lesson to one of those periods?
Here's how you can do that on SKIES:
- Click the pen beside the lesson title.
- Go down to Access Control.
- Click the small triangle beside All Students. You'll then see the classes/periods that you have in that course.
- Note: If you click the small triangle button beside the period name, you'll see the name of students who are enrolled in the class. Check out our article on how to change the students' access to your lesson. We added the link below this article.
- To the right of the class/period name, you will see a dropdown. Select:
- View and Post - for the class you want to give access to the lesson
- No Access - for the class you don't want to give access to the lesson
- Example: If you want to assign Lesson 1 to Period 1 and not to Period 2, select View and Post for Period 1, and No access for Period 2.
- Click Save on the bottom right of the pop-up window.
