Generator: Definitions

SKIES Definitions Generator helps teachers allow students to give a vocabulary word their own definition. Follow these steps below to generate your own definition cards:

1. Click the Generator button below your Lesson Title or the +Make new card button in the lesson path and click Generator from the dropdown menu.
2. Select Definitions from Writing folder and type/paste the list of your vocabulary words on the provided field.
3. Below the word list field, you'll have additional options you can use for your quiz (e.g. have students determine the part of speech, provide definition, use in a sentence and/or make an answer key).
4. Click Make Cards and SKIES will then generate a card for each word with a sentence starter and answer key (if enabled).
