There are times when you want a specific group of students to see your lesson card.
SKIES lets you name groups of students, and use these groups to differentiate who can see what cards in a lesson. You can then use these user groups in all of your lessons in a course.
Here’s how to create user group (OPTION 1):
1. Go to your lesson card, then click (all) at the top of the card:
3. Under the Student tab, click the dropdown, select Add new group, then create the group name.
4. Show the cards to the students that you want to include in the group by clicking the toggle button on. Click the toggle button off for the rest of those you don't want to include.
5. Click Done at the top right.
Here's another easy way to create a user group, which also allows you to see all of your user groups, rename, delete or add a new one (OPTION 2):
- Click the 3 horizontal dots at the top right of your page, beside the refresh button.
- To add a new group, click Add new group at the top right of the page.
- To rename or delete, click the user group name, and the options to delete or rename will appear.
Here's how to assign a card to a user group:
- Go to your lesson card, then click the (all) at the top of the card:
- Under the Student tab, click the dropdown, then select the user group that you want to assign your lesson card to.
- You may also go to the Group tab, then toggle on the user group/s that you want to assign the card to. This is helpful if you want to assign the card to multiple user groups.
